    A sua atua\u00e7\u00e3o em pesquisa cient\u00edfica envolve a busca por novos f\u00e1rmacos antic\u00e2ncer a partir da biodiversidade brasileira, em especial do ambiente marinho, onde vem desenvolvendo projetos para o conhecimento da biodiversidade microbiana e do seu potencial biotecnol\u00f3gico, visando o desenvolvimento sustent\u00e1vel de novos f\u00e1rmacos.<\/p>\n

    Os projetos desenvolvidos envolvem os seguintes objetivos principais:<\/p>\n

    1. Isolamento de novas subst\u00e2ncias antic\u00e2ncer guiado por t\u00e9cnicas de dereplica\u00e7\u00e3o, cromatografia funcional alvo-direcionada e gera\u00e7\u00e3o de imagens por MALDI-imaging<\/em>;<\/li>\n
    2. Estudo do alvo molecular de subst\u00e2ncias antic\u00e2ncer atrav\u00e9s da s\u00edntese de derivados fluorescentes e estudos de imunoprecipita\u00e7\u00e3o;<\/li>\n
    3. Estudos de metabol\u00f4mica, metagen\u00f4mica e metagen\u00f4mica funcional;<\/li>\n
    4. Estudo do mecanismo de a\u00e7\u00e3o das subst\u00e2ncias isoladas;<\/li>\n
