Graduada em Qu\u00edmica Industrial pela Universidade Federal do Cear\u00e1, onde obteve o t\u00edtulo de Doutora em Qu\u00edmica, com especialidade em qu\u00edmica de produtos naturais. Foi Vice-coordenadora do Programa de P\u00f3s-Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Qu\u00edmica e Coordenadora do mesmo. Atualmente, \u00e9 professora titular do Departamento de Qu\u00edmica Org\u00e2nica e Inorg\u00e2nica, pesquisadora e bolsista de produtividade n\u00edvel 1D do Conselho Nacional para o Desenvolvimento Cient\u00edfico (CNPq). Orienta projetos de Inicia\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica, mestrado, doutorado e de p\u00f3s-doutorado em projetos relacionados com a caracteriza\u00e7\u00e3o da composi\u00e7\u00e3o qu\u00edmica de extratos de plantas com uso etnobot\u00e2nico ou de interesse farmacol\u00f3gico e produtos naturais marinhos, incluindo algas, invertebrados e microorganismos associados.<\/p>\n

Principais Trabalhos Desenvolvidos<\/h2>\n

A professora\/pesquisadora vem desenvolvendo projetos de pesquisa – na grande maioria envolvendo colabora\u00e7\u00f5es com farmacologistas – relacionados com a prospec\u00e7\u00e3o qu\u00edmica de fontes naturais como plantas e organismos marinhos (algas, invertebrados e microrganismos associados-bact\u00e9rias). Neste contexto, tem-se dedicado, particularmente, a buscar compostos com atividade anti-c\u00e2ncer ou anti-microbiano. Como consequ\u00eancia, tem mantido regular periodicidade quanto \u00e0s suas publica\u00e7\u00f5es \u00a0\u00a0cient\u00edficas e orienta\u00e7\u00f5es em n\u00edveis de inicia\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica, mestrado e doutorado.<\/p>\n
