Descri\u00e7\u00e3o<\/h2>\n

O Laborat\u00f3rio de Biologia Recifal (BIOREC) tem como miss\u00e3o o estudo dos ambientes recifais, em especial aqueles localizados em mares tropicais. S\u00e3o estudados desde aspectos b\u00e1sicos dos ecossistemas, como composi\u00e7\u00e3o faun\u00edstica e distribui\u00e7\u00e3o geogr\u00e1fica dos organismos, at\u00e9 o seu funcionamento em diferentes escalas. Dentre os animais recifais, as asc\u00eddias s\u00e3o um ponto focal do trabalho do laborat\u00f3rio, com projetos envolvendo a taxonomia, evolu\u00e7\u00e3o, distribui\u00e7\u00e3o e ecologia destes animais<\/p>\n
